Alameda Isles is a very popular, neat-as-a-pin neighborhood for retirees. This affordable 55+ waterfront community has a marina and access to the Gulf. In addition, the list of amenities goes on and on.... Pool and Spa, wood shop, billiards, library, Bocce courts, tennis, Pickleball, exercise facility, shuffle board, crafts, and a beautiful club house. In addition to having fun with all these amenities, there is also an active calendar of events in the community as well.
There is also onsite storage for RVs, boats and other toys. For pet owners, there is a small section of homes in park that are allowed to have pets. With all this you'd expect the fees to be high, but that's not the case. Current HOA fees are just $169 a month and includes all the amenities (boat slips and storage fees extra) as well as lawn maintenance, cable and trash. Residents of Alameda Isles say they love riding the bikes and Golf carts around the neighborhood visiting friends. It's also biking distance (15-20 mins) to Manasota Key beach and the historic Dearborn Street in downtown Englewood that hosts music, farmers markets, shops and restaurants.
